After the events of Starscream's Ghost, a demoted and all-but forgotten Soundwave sees an opportunity to acquire a prize he had long coveted. With said prize being Starscream, it surprises exactly no one when things get very... loud.
Soundwave saved Starscream's second life, and all he asked in return was... everything Starscream had left to give.
