What if Vox met Angel before he rose to Overlord status and before he ever met Valentino, before the Vees were even a group of powerful Overlords?
In 1950, Vox fell into Hell; he was nothing more than a regular sinner with a humanoid body and a block TV head. In his first ten years, He became friends with another sinner, a powerful Overlord, but then one sinner, a tall white spider, caught his attention.
After decades of being together, they became a powerful business duo. Vox became an overlord and CEO of his own tech company with the help of his partner, but as always, power attracts those who don’t care what they have to do to get what they want from someone else.
When a certain Moth Overlord begins to fill Vox’s flat-faced head with lies, everything goes to shit for the couple to the point where one big blow-up happens where someone gets seriously injured, and the backlash begins to crush everything they built.

There is a universe in which the Vees do not exist. Vox rose to power before the radio demon and managed to swindle his soul, along with that of another up-and-coming overlord by the name of Angel Dust. As a trio, their influence bleeds through the city. Hell will be theirs soon. But why rush? They have the rest of forever to take it.
‘So, Vox,’ Angel says, conversationally. ‘We can do this here.’
‘We could,’ agrees Alastor, once again crushing Important Things on Vox’s desk. ‘The metal walkway sounds quite appealing!’
‘Or,’ he continues, ‘you can let Smiles take us somewhere nicer, where he’s not gonna make me edge ya for the next three hours because you’ve put him in a mood.’
‘I can leave,’ Vox says. He threatens this by glitching, skin glowing with blurry blue binary code as he half-phases out.
