Therefore, it's not a great time for the particle accelerator to explode. Mick hits hypothermia, Len runs a fever, and the newly reforged bonds between them get a little weirder.

Summary
After saving Hyrule from Vaati and Ganondorf, the pieces of Link are sealed inside the Four Sword, acting as the new spirit of the sword they once wielded. Now, the soul that once called itself Link waits in the darkness for the day in which he can be released from the prison he now calls home.
Thousands of years later, he may just get that chance.

After waking from the Shrine of Resurrection, the Hylian (Link? that's what the voice told him anyway) found a sword hidden in a plant-covered cave deep within the plateau. While everything within the cave was destroyed and ruined, the stone that held the sword still looked pristine. The sword, with golden hilt wings still shining despite the vines wrapped around them, hummed softly as he approached with tentative steps.
Grabbing the hilt, he heaved upwards.

Link Waker can See things: the ghosts on the docks, the feathered wings on a strange man's back. He leaves his home in the Archipelago to go gather the eight blessed others as required by the prophecy the goddesses seem fit to shove at him. It's not as simple a task as it seems.

The gang is all here! Well, almost all here. Four is missing, and portals have been opening next to the chosen heroes but he's all alone!! Wind can See, warriors is a demon, times wings are messed up, legend is Drowned, Hyrule has wings (fairy?) Twilight has wolfy thing, Sky is bird boy and nothing confirmed about wild or four yet. Modern world but with heroes in each country. Downfall is unaccessible except by magical portal.
Super duper amazing and deffo excited to see where this goes :D

We find four new heroes?! The colours are battling two portals and are exhausted, but the chain comes in clutch and finds out all the colors are collectively Four. We start heading back to Time's house to breathe for a bit

We have a prophetic dream from sky, that matches up with Wind's prophecy. tl:dr there will be evil plants and the heros must TRUST one another... Which will be difficult with this crew. A portal appears and they plan to go through it.
4 chip as of 8-5-22
We go through the portal and land on Wind's boat! Sailing to windfall island reveals a plantu dungeon which the chain makes its way through, up until the pre boss room, wherein Wild just dies. He gets better tho, but it's gonna take a bit til he's in tip top form. The boss room is suspiciously easy, and it turns out for good reason, it has a phase 2! This phase releases spooky gas that starts to bring all the enemies back to life. The plan now is to run, run and don't look back. Uh oh, the gas is spreading out of the cave, what will our heroes do next?!
5 chip as of 10-1-22
We start with a bit of a time skip and some hylian McDonald's, then flash back to the island escape. Once our heroes are safe on a beach the truth come out - trust or die the prophecy said and they all decide to trust. Turns out Wild is a Revenant (means he is really really hard to kill) and Legend is a Merfolk!! Everyone else is pretty straightforward - Hyrule the half fairy half elf, Time the escaped Angel, Twilight the werewolf, Sky the real old dragon, Warriors the hell escaped, and our human club only has Four and Wind, the many and the Seer. At the end we get an addition to the prophecy :D
- I know a fic is good when I haven't read it in ages, but a new update gets me smiling and invested in story I don't entirely remember (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+

Dean can’t get the dirt out from under his fingernails. He scrubs and scrubs and scrubs until his knuckles are bleeding and his fingers ache. He can’t seem to catch his breath either as he feels the dirt against his face, twigs digging into his skin. It steals his breath, water still running as he sinks to the cold tile floor under him.
The knock on the wood startles him, nearly drown out by the rush of water from the sink. He can’t seem to get himself off the ground though, feels tears tracking down his cheeks and he doesn’t know why he’s crying all of the sudden, just sees Seamus in front of him, as he was only a few days ago, much worse off than he is now.
