Winding a hazardous path through Europe, Hannibal is still trying to coax potential out of Will, baiting him with kindnesses to counter the cruelties he lavishes on him.
Will clings to justifications as to why he hasn't turned Hannibal in yet. He won't call for help, and it's not because he's scared; that he knows that Hannibal would all but smell the betrayal on him the moment he acted on it. It's not even that he knows he'd be first to be thrown into the crosshairs that would find them, no matter how sincerely Hannibal assures him that he wishes him to be a living thing by his side.
It's that it's a long game with indecipherable rules - but the longer Will delays its conclusion, the more unwanted players they attract.

The Mikaelson Siblings succeed in conquering, the much-famed, mystic territory of New Orleans. They've rid the city of the werewolves, causing their leader Solomon Navarro to flee, with his sons, Armand and Louis, along with the remnants of their pack.
However, conditions had worsened much before, when Niklaus Mikaelson, fell for Armand Navarro's fiancee, a headstrong New Orleans witch, Vivianne Lescheres, who was half werewolf herself. This, in turn, led to a breach of a treaty between the werewolves and the witches. The Original Family stepped in earlier to minimise the potential damage due to Klaus' romantic inclinations, as Elijah capitalises on this window to ally with the witches, driving a diplomatic campaign that would ultimately lead to the total elimination of the werewolves, who had already begun taking their liberties with their alliances with the witches, by activating Viv's werewolf gene.
Things go berserk, and lead to a war, with numerous consequences, in which Rebekah's love interest has been sacrificed as collateral damage as well, while she had been securing the city of potential hunters. The siblings reminisce on all that they've lost, as Klaus reconciles with Viv's death.

It had started with a scam gone wrong.
Double D had been caught in the middle of it - of course - because somehow, these things were unequivocally his fault. He hadn’t been aware of it at first, not really. It was lunchtime and suddenly he’d been caught by Kevin; a strong hand gripping the front of his shirt and the other curled in a fist, threatening to hit him if he didn't explain himself right then and there
"Wait a moment - please!""Then tell me," Kevin gritted out, eyes burning with a fury promising a fate much worse than death, "Why the hell your stupid machine was punching holes in every single football our team has because I wouldn't cough up five dollars."
It starts when they are fourteen, after Edd is roped into helping out with a scam that goes wrong. It then follows Edd and Kevin in the years that lead on, showing the ways that their relationship grows and changes as times goes on.
This fic sorta goes for the vibe of dark comedy. It does have an eventual happy ending as well :)

To be in love?”

POST-CANON — A very toxic way of fixing canon that somehow works because the boys area a mess. 😅 Cas is brought back by Jack in this fic. And Dean, Dean loves him, and he doesn’t want Cas to ever leave him again.
THOUGHTS — This is a really interesting way to end things off! I always say, that it’s really really difficult to make things end romantically, but also naturally at the end of canon. And the author pulls it off. They pull it off in the most toxic way possible. But it works and it’s 😭 beautiful.
Would definitely read again! My favorite kind of one shots are the ones that keep me thinking after. The ones that makes me imagine the ‘beyond’ — and this is definitely that.

Hoseok leans in and kisses him firmly, their lips meeting at just the right angle, his heart immediately kicking into overdrive. He pulls back and says, “Yes.”
“Yes?” Yoongi repeats cautiously. Hoseok rolls his eyes and tugs Yoongi forward until they’re laying beside each other against the pillow, Yoongi goes with a small yelp.
“Yes, I want to be together,” Hoseok confirms, savouring the soft smile Yoongi’s lips curve into before sliding his hands to the back of his neck and pulling him down into a kiss.
