Summary
While jerking off and thinking of each other, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov switch bodies. With a week before they meet for their first game of their second professional season, they've got no choice but to live each others' lives until then. But will seeing each other in person reverse whatever switched them?
Ilya plans to enjoy the admiration, while Shane is about to learn what it's like to be respected, but not loved. They both also find they're enjoying their predicament more than they should - and they've switched more than just appearances. Tastes and language skills remain, as do echoes of other memories.
Shane's about to learn there's more to the dickish Russian than an attitude and talent, and Ilya's about to learn that being the golden boy isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Derek didn’t like people—they set him on edge in a way that nobody quite seemed to understand, much to his vexation. They always invited themselves into his space, like they somehow had a right to be there. They touched his clothes, his books, his skin—leaving their scents clinging to things that were supposed to smell like himself. They expected him to talk to them, and never managed to wrap their heads around the notion that he just couldn’t. Words were difficult for him to use most of the time, and despite all efforts to communicate in other ways, people just didn’t understand. But it didn’t matter anyway, because Derek didn’t like people and had no inclination to socialize with them.
But Stiles was…different, somehow. He did everything that Derek hated, and more. He intruded into Derek’s space, he rambled constantly, loudly, with flailing arms and fidgeting fingers—and his presence should have driven Derek up the wall, but it didn’t. Stiles didn’t set him on edge, like everyone else did. And maybe most surprising of all, he understood him.

Prism flinches internally, realizing she opened herself up to that question. She tosses it around in her brain, trying to determine each outcome. She could not tell Waterboy, tell him to shut the hell up and walk back inside- though that was cruel, even for her. Or, she could tell him, and be strangely emotionally vulnerable. That icks her out, but there is something about Waterboy that disarmed her an alarming amount. An embarrassing amount. What it says on the tin, all my wild ideas of "what if" and "how about" in the Star Wars universe. Some are holdovers from my ff.net days, others are newer and shinier. A few start off unique series of their own, but most tend to be self-contained snippets, as my Muse presents a cool idea for me to write down and then never think of it again.
