Legundo gestured to the body in the man’s arms, wrapped in wool and linen.
“He happened.”
Everyone seemed to go still at the realisation of what this meant.
AU where Owen takes the cure that Abolish offers him, and immediately falls ill. Something to do with having a billion crippling illnesses and also having been dead for 200 years.
Unfortunately for Owen, the only doctor in town is the guy he kinda sorta brutally murdered not an hour before.
Understandably, Legundo isn’t happy about having to take care of his sire. -

Scott had been foolish enough to believe it – foolish enough to grab immortality with both hands and grin like he’d made the smart choice.
He didn’t feel very smart as he lay on the cold concrete. He didn’t feel invulnerable as blood oozed out his head. His right eye had long ago been blinded by the congealing black substance. When he was badly injured and hungry he only had enough energy to keep his body from slowing down into a deep slumber. He was intimately familiar with being a corpse.
“Scott?” A weak voice asked.
He hummed making no move to fix his position.
“Don’t leave me.” Shelby said so quietly only his vampiric hearing could pick it up.
He forced a purr. He couldn’t form the words to speak, he couldn’t even hum a proper song but purring was easy, purring could be done no matter how wounded he was - as long as he tricked himself into believing he was happy enough for it-]

Inspired by V.Pyro and V.Legundo starter vampire AU by rushinastro on tiktok and twitter. And then if completely broke off as I wrote more chapters, but uhhh, still check out Rushinastro, art is good, tasty art, go eat the art, and like and support it too. Rushinastro deserves the support.
Had a different title for this originally but someone pointed out a typo and I changed it completely, plus it's kinda inspired by some tweet thing I saw of (IRL)Legundo responding to VLegundo starter vampire AU content.
Also not everything could fit in the tags and even the one's that do are very important to the story so please always check the notes and summary for them. This can, but isn't limited too, ships, depictions of violence not already said in the tags, and characters not being labeled as not human in tags but are labeled not human in the story. Also everyone is kind queer platonic in this, like everyone has moments that could be romantic, but not all of them are overly shippy hence not being in the tags, but I'll still mention them in the notes or summary just in case.

Abolish and Legundo are vampires, after however many years of immortality you would expect that to be obvious, Abolish expected that to be obvious too. The amount of problems two vampires with unresolved trauma and some badly timed human interaction can cause is really a surprise!
He was pretty sure this guy was a vampire now; but the only question in his mind was why on earth was he was eating garlic?! He'd seen vampires eat garlic as a cover story before sure, but this guy had a stench of it on him, like he had been eating it for ages. There was no way someone would do that just for a cover story, so what was this guy's problem?!
"Garlic huh? You uh? enjoy the taste or something?" Abolish didn't know what to say; he just blurted something random.
It was an uncomfortable amount of time before he answered....Should probably mention most of these tags are for LATE chapters that haven’t been made yet (we’ve done planning, they’ll be released one day…)
