Summary
Wriothesley takes another sip of tea, and Neuvillette watches, entranced, as a drop of amber liquid rolls down the duke’s stubbled chin. The dragon’s hand twitches as he fights the urge to wipe the drop away.
Wriothesley’s voice pulls him out of his trance. “Monsieur? You okay? You’re spacing out a lot today. It’s not like you.” There is concern in his icy blue eyes.
Neuvillette’s breath hitches, mortified at having been caught staring yet again. Whatever is ailing him, it is stronger than he initially thought.
Neuvillette begins feeling strangely around Wriothesley one day, and thinks he is simply coming down with something. Little does he know that he is not the only one afflicted with something...
