Summary
What is eternity? Some believe eternity commences upon death, while others perceive it as an entity or an intangible force. Ultimately, the interpretation of eternity rests with the individual. Paradoxically, although we can never truly know its nature, the concept exists because living beings conceived the word. Time facilitates the evolution of races, worlds, universes, and the self. Even the meanings encapsulated by time evolve within its passage. Eternity once held a straightforward definition, but linguistic evolution has imbued it with a complex history-the evolution of a word tethered to an undefined subject.
Eternity itself is weightless, yet its meaning can feel like an incomprehensible burden. Attempting to fully grasp it can be overwhelming, and some have reportedly been driven to madness in this pursuit. Through books, however, thoughts are said to endure indefinitely, for an eternity. Books transcend the conventional notions of "life" and "death," allowing individuals to encapsulate their deepest thoughts within their pages, thoughts that persist long after they are gone. Some even believe the author's essence remains within the expansive realm of the book.
