And, as in the first two parts, there are no spoilers from the show at all and the Satin Flowers character only appears in the books, so no similarities with the Olly character (thankfully!). This is gonna be a MakoMaji fic with mentions of Sayama and Kiryu. This will also be multi-chapter. The first chapter takes place during Kiwami 2 and is from Kiryu's perspective. The following chapters are after Kiwami 2 (before Majima comes into the storyline of Yakuza 3) and follow's Makoto's perspective
Right, plot. First chapter is Kiryu being a bro and happening on a sad Majima, deciding to help a brother out.
Now following plot.After all that's said and done, Makoto can live a nice and happy life with her child and her husband. Everything in life is finally working out for her. That is until her home is invaded by a mysterious assassin who kills her husband and child. He then tells her to find Goro Majima, and ask him about Kei Ibuchi. Makoto, wanting answers, returns to Kamurocho to do so. Upon hearing this news, Majima realizes that no matter how much he distances himself, Makoto is dragged back into the veil of evil. For that, he blames himself.

"You never get away with it."
That's about the summary for this whole story right there. Maybe I should stop, but I'll explain more. I based this whole thing on that phrase, to remind myself that Sunny is, while still loved and cherished by his friends, still considered someone his friends fear on some level. How would anyone react to the fact that their best friend, even accidentally, pushed someone they all loved down the stairs? The way it would impact their friendships; the awkwardness and fear hanging over every interaction like a socially inept teenager getting too close to a cute girl in the hallways of their high school - these are all valid concerns that Aubrey, Kel, and Hero have. While I'm sure that I'm not entirely accurate in this representation, I do hope that I've managed to capture some of that overhanging dread and fear the game managed to evoke. I do not regret a single bit of my time playing OMORI.
And I hope you do not regret spending any time reading this.
