Jimin has a medical condition called hyperhidrosis, which means he sweats excessively, whatever the weather, whatever his mood, and he can't help it. In the past it has destroyed potential relationships and now he's dead set on not dating for a good while, which is odd being the romantic he is.
Then Jungkook tells him he's set him up on a date with Min Yoongi, a soft, adorable man who Jimin ends up clicking with right away. Even though Yoongi is on a pedestal compared with all those other people who scared Jimin away from dating, he can't help but be wary in order to preserve his own feelings. But with Yoongi constantly throwing curve balls and defying all that he's come to accept, he's struggling to stay away from giving in.

Hyperhidrosis wasn’t new. He’d been dealing with it since he was twelve, back when it first started showing up in the worst ways, sweaty handshakes, ruined homework pages, shirts that stuck to his back before first period even started. Being the “gross sweaty kid” left scars. Not the kind anyone could see, but the kind that shaped how he walked into a room.
So now? He overcorrected. He played it cool. Loud. Charming. Chill. Always pretending like he didn’t care, like his body wasn’t constantly giving him away.
Because if he pretended hard enough, maybe people wouldn’t notice. Maybe he could even believe it himself.
