So yeah, sure, Taki’s heart rate went up a little when Kei answered the door of his apartment. And maybe he’d fight down a sharp blush from creeping up his neck whenever Kei enveloped him in a bear hug backstage after a show. And it’s true that something heavy and warm settled in the pit of his stomach whenever Kei squeezed his cheeks together and called him soft and cute. But that was just biology.
It’s simply the way things were. The earth revolved around the sun, birds flew south for the winter, and Taki loved Kei.
