Oliver Queen, owner of the Jazz club, Verdant, fills in one night for one of his sick bartenders. One evening shift turns into several when his interest is piqued by a woman, sexy and confident, who enjoys all things pink including her hair. She sits alone at his bar, gently swaying to the live music, and turns down every come on line and advance made, male and female. She doesn’t say anything to him other than her drink order but he can feel her eyes on him. Her gaze lingers just long enough for it to feel like a caress. A caress Oliver has become addicted to. Does he have a chance with her or will he crash and burn? There was only one way to find out.And since she agreed here it is! The song “At Last” is by Etta James. The mistakes are all mine and once again the idea came from Mel!

Just before they are to head back to Earth after the fal-tor-pan, Spock detects that he has a bond with Jim. Still having gaps in his memory, he attempts to analyze the nature of the bond. Spock concludes that he and Jim are bondmates, and says as much in front of Starfleet brass. Jim is shocked, but goes along with it out of fear that Starfleet would declare Spock unfit for duty. After telling Spock the truth, they agree to continue letting Starfleet believe that their bond is romantic in nature, while both privately wish that it was.

Tony shifted, drew the device from his pocket before Peter could fully react and pressed in, arms pressing underneath Peter’s in a sort of hug as he touched it lightly between the boy’s shoulderblades. The reaction was instant, Peter’s body suddenly going lifeless against his own, his panicked sound half cut off as his head dropped to Tony’s shoulder. Tony smirked slowly, looking out into the glass as he simply stood for a moment, holding Peter’s helpless form upright.

What they don’t see is how she’ll argue about house-elf rights with a haughty Gryffindor or take the time to help a Hufflepuff struggling with a spell in Charms or go toe to toe with a Slytherin in a battle of wits and win.
They don’t see what he sees which is fine. He’ll hold those moments with him until he works up the courage to actually talk to her. He is a Gryffindor so it’s got to happen some time.
