Which yeah, someone should have told Tony that. Loki totally failed to mention it, thinking it was common knowledge. Tony just thought that it was a weird gift of art decoration. It was a fucking golden apple, it didn’t look like something to eat, he wasn’t all that informed or interested into myths, how was he supposed to know that having the apple sit prettily on his desk and not eating it just showed a painful and long indecision akin to rejection to everyone who knew what the offering of an golden apple actually meant?"
Tony had honestly thought everything was fine.

...OR, in this fic's reality: George has not yet seen Dream's face, Patches is beyond adorable, and Dream has created a playlist--featuring Sweater Weather and Heat Waves, of course--to listen to with George on the way home from the airport. George's flight does not work out as expected and Dream is left "alone" at the airport thinking George doesn't even care enough to text him to tell him that he isn't actually coming. -

Our protagonist is a pickpocket from the Outside, and currently resides inside the village, making his living off of petty theft.
With the pathway between Gensokyo and Makai unsealed every so often thanks to negotiations with the tengu, Shinki grows restless, and our protagonist inadvertently finds himself at the center of it all.
