After a creepy encounter from Irons, Wesker seems to be your hero. But, when your fever doesn't down you have to go to the hospital. What you've learned about Irons almost gets you killed. Events continue to fall into place that lead to you making Captain and Wesker making chief, and you learn things about each other, as well as grow closer.
