When Vox's alarm clock goes off, he knows the day has to start. Valentino has a full day of work, and Vox decides to tag along to watch. From the moment Vox wakes up however, he wishes that his boyfriend didn't have to go into work, a certain song playing through his mind as he watches Val go about his day.
NOTE: This story is written in the first person- being Vox's point of view. I have only ever done a few of these stories, so this was an adventure to write. Hopefully I did alright :)

Living with Vox and Valentino is not easy at all, especially because both are idiots who spend their time running a stupid sitcom without viewers in which they play the part of the couple in crisis. And when the situation becomes untenable, it's Velvette's turn to step in to resolve it. The problem is... how could a sweet little psycho reconcile a pimp with self-control issues and a television with a certain propensity to behave like an asshole? Answer: just resort to drastic measures. Very drastic. Maybe a little too much… but hey, this is hell, so who cares.
This story takes place right after episode 2 and before episode 3 of the series. Basically, it's the reason why Vox and Valentino didn't show up at Carmilla's meeting despite the rather important topic they had to discuss.

Summary
Vox shows up on the hotel’s doorstep with no memory of how he got there or who he is. They agree to house and heal him, and slowly but surely he finds joy in becoming better. Then Valentino shows up and is forced to choose between self-altering addiction and the closest he’s ever come to love.
Meanwhile, Velvette has a new potion brewing, one that will grant her more power than the Vees ever had. Only Vox and Val can stop her, but will goodness really overcome evil? Or will they be only a shadow of their former selves?

StaticMoth, but not currently a focus. Very good depiction of the characters and exploration of redemption, even for those like Vox and Val. ADHD Vox!! Love how he’s written. Val is great in this too. All the characters in the hotel are given attention and feel very authentically portrayed.
