The fall of one god creates another.
The veil between worlds is as simple as a singular realm, the Astral Realm. A realm where anything is possible and connections are deeply worshipped. Though no beings live in this realm, they do communicate and connect through this realm. Through this ability, our main character, Astraea, finds herself in communication with Loki, the god of chaos and multiverses(depending on which you like, both are used). Through backs shredded and memories lost, the two finally make a connection beyond the intimate void of the Astral Realm.
Though the unit won't allow such a situation to go unsolved, nor will they let their strongest weapon go so easily.
This is an alternating POV storyline with a freeform plot, though Loki's backstory stays the same, you get a different, if not completely absent, view of the situations. POV will be mentioned at the beginning or at cuts during the fic.
