Summary
Ace, the son of a single mother in South Blue, has a relatively good life. He has a roof over his head, a good relationship with his mother, and doesn't have to worry about money as much as he should. However, he feels like everything is wrong. he has struggled with his mentality in the past and was recovering after a brief stint at the hospital, but everything was lovely.
Until it wasn't anymore.
As a single mother, Rouge has many secrets that Ace has learned never to question. There was her past, her knowledge of the world and her..... morally grey views. But the void of unanswered questions has swallowed him into a position, tethering between two different worlds.
It probably doesn't help that they're harbouring a pirate.
(a What-if fic of if Roger was never executed by the Marines and spent the last couple of months with Rouge, and Garp never taking in Ace as a result)

'Z-Zed- ohgodplease.~' His ears lowered as an embarrassing mewl escaped ember, breathing deeply as the cold sank in.
'It's okay, just let me make you feel good...' Zed kissed Tango as zir hand moved away from the plug and returned against Tango's chest with more metal, causing the blaze to tremble even more as it moaned lewdly into Zed’s mouth."- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
