“Say something!” Jungkook screamed, taking a step forward. “Fucking SAY SOMETHING!”
Yoongi stayed perfectly still. His hands were in his pockets. His jaw clenched slightly, but he didn’t speak.
Jungkook’s vision blurred with rage. His hands were trembling violently. And then he snapped.
With a broken roar, Jungkook lunged. His hands shot out, grabbing Yoongi by the collar and slamming him back against the wall.
“YOU LET HIM LEAVE ME!” Jungkook's voice cracked violently. His hands clenched Yoongi's jacket, his knuckles bone-white. His breath was jagged, hot, and heavy. “WHY? WHY THE FUCK DID YOU LET HIM GO?”
Yoongi didn’t move. His eyes never wavered. He didn’t raise his hands to defend himself. He simply stared into Jungkook’s eyes, unmoving.
“ANSWER ME!” Jungkook bellowed, his voice breaking into a sob. His nails dug into the fabric of Yoongi’s jacket.
Yoongi’s voice was low and calm when he finally spoke.
“He did it to protect you.”
