There were three things Hitoshi Shinso knew before he joined Class 1-A:
1. He had no intention of making friends when he transferred to the hero course (or anything more than that for the matter).
2. He was prepared to adamantly refuse any attempts to form bonds and relationships, to remain stoic and silent in spite of their persistent ways.
3. He was firmly under the assumption that he was 100% straight before he stepped into that classroom.
Now let two more things be known:
He was not at all prepared for the resident sunshine incarnate of Class 1-A to smile at him when he walked in on a Monday morning.
Hitoshi Shinsou had one thought when he saw Denki Kaminari.

Summary
Hawks and Touya had a history, forged through two years of the best friendship either of them ever had. That's why, when Dabi said his name -- his REAL name -- in the middle of the Jaku Hospital Raid, Hawks began to spiral deeper and deeper into his past. It was only then that he could begin to forgive the child friend he thought he'd lost to flames.
Touya was never good at holding onto relationships. As much as he tried to outrun them, there were always those who refused to let him go. His siblings, his mother, his friend Keigo... Even after all he'd done, they still welcomed him back home.
With the HPSC torn apart, the youngest generation of heroes began to fill in the cracks and build a more just world. Retirement brought the joy and peace Keigo and Touya never dared hope for.
OR: The one where Dabi and Hawks were childhood friends at the HPSC and got the happy ever after they deserve.

Dabi accidentally becomes Shoto's Fairy Godmother, Shoto's life goal is to become a Hero while committing as many crimes as he can, and the two of them have a multitude of fun antics fueled by spite, flavored candy canes, and lots of 3am McDonald's.
And some times they cry. :)

Vigilantism is defined as illegal and/or unlicensed quirk use with the intentional goal of rounding up, attacking, or otherwise apprehending criminals or otherwise in a manner emulating the tasks of heroes in an offensive or dangerous manner.
Izuku reread the definition a few times.
It wasn't as though Izuku had never heard of vigilantes. He even had notes on a few interesting ones. He knew illegal quirk use was probably a big factor in it being, well, illegal. He just hadn't realized quirk use was what made somebody a vigilante. It was sort of odd. He expected the definition to be more… inclusive, he supposed. What if somebody just didn't use their quirk? It couldn't apply to mutations unless they had emitter or transformation qualities, right? It couldn't apply to-
It couldn't apply to him.
He couldn't be a vigilante.
They couldn't arrest him for being one.
Or:
Midoriya Izuku ends up becoming a vigilante. Featuring Eraserdad, a very tired Tsukauchi, and Mic being the sanest adult here.
