Being popular was Phainon's thing since always. School’s golden boy, math genius, basketball prodigy, annoyingly good at smiling (according to basically everyone). Phainon really thought he had it together.
Not until now.
One day he spotted a boy at the baking club booth. Golden-red hair, sharp (beautiful) amber eyes, a pink apron tied neatly around his waist making justice to his absurd (sexy) body, handing out cupcakes with the calmest (hot) expression Phainon had ever seen in his life.
“I'm in love, Jesus." Phainon thought staring with the mouth agape, while choking slightly with the cupcake he ate seconds ago.
Turns out, winning over Mydei isn't going to be as simple as flashing a charming smile or scoring a perfect three-pointer. Especially when Mydei won’t even smile back, not properly, like hiding something of him but… Good thing Phainon's never been afraid of a little hard work. Or making a fool of himself. Or falling, headfirst and stupid, for someone who has no idea how much he already owns him.
Or basically... a High School full of sports, sabotage, baking, passive-aggressive academic duels, shady black-market deals, and two boys too dumb for their own sake.
