Summary
There wasn’t any real point in sticking around America anymore [...] Even before Muriel, Crowley found the angel lodged frustratingly in every passage of his mind. Every line of thought eventually led back to Aziraphale and his touch on Crowley’s shoulder, as he leaned into the desperate kiss for a second that expanded endlessly in Crowley’s mind before the angel crumpled and burned away under his hellish touch.
Or
Aziraphale has taken on the role of Supreme Archangel and is finding it much more difficult than anticipated. Meanwhile Crowley tries and fails to cope with the breakup, all while Heaven and Hell are hurtling ever closer to The Second Coming.

Summary
Anthony J. Crowley has taken the final step towards his fall.
Waking up in a hospital bed with a broken wrist and a severed eye, his whole career in jeopardy, he has no other choice than to make a change and finally go to rehab.
All he can hope is that nobody there will know who is he, allowing him to find the peace he needs to heal his body and mind. And maybe, maybe write again.
Wishful thinking of course, when your face has been on telly and your voice on the radio for the last fifteen years. But there is a man there absolutely oblivious to Crowley's fame. Oblivious too, thank whoever’s up there, to how smitten he is by the young, bubbly librarian.

Summary
South Downs isn't the post-retirement paradise Aziraphale and Crowley thought it would be. Aziraphale sinks everything he is into their new home, leaving nothing for his relationship with Crowley. Feeling slighted, Crowley decides to take a summer-long holiday alone, starting with storm chasing in the States. After all, humans say absence makes the heart grow fonder. He and Aziraphale have spent more time apart than they have together over the last six thousand years. Maybe they just need to spend some time apart. Little does Crowley know, it will be something else entirely that brings them back together.
