He was not crazy despite what everyone choose to think and say about him, Satoru was a psychopath which was way more fun and much easier to get away with. For some reason Gojo just knew Yuji was aware he wasn't really crazy or in the way his other students and teachers thought but he also knew Yuji was very aware of the fact he wasn't completely sane either. Which in fact was way more fun then poorly pretending to hide it.

Satoru had his reasons for half the crap he did already among having his shitty personality like truly lying to people that don't involve Yuji so he told him “I'm a good liar Yuji!” Only for Yuji to yell back at him “You didn't tell me you wanted to fuck and mate me either!” Which was totally fair and true but also not Satoru's fault “But I didn't hide it from you! It's not my fault you're dense, so don't blame me!”
“I hate you,” Satoru hummed, “still didn't lie though”, causing Yuji to throw his hands up “I can't with you” Satoru shrugged “yeah you can just lay there I'm doing all the work half the time anyway”. Yuji's deadpanned face locked on Satoru's own nonchalant one repeating “I hate you”.
“Love you too Yuji!”

Satoru hummed nonchalantly un-concerned by the accusation and ran his long fingers through his white hair making his tone husky it was rough and had a hard rasp to it from the tension that Yuji didn't want to call sexual telling him just as harshly "never said I was a good one" his answer almost causing Yuji to scream in hysteria.

He heard both of their screams over the sounds of the wolves. He felt the way Wei Ying trembled, hands almost painfully tightening their hold on Lan Zhan’s neck, refusing to let go, to let the wolf have access to the precious skin.
A wolf jumped on top of them, pressing them both down onto the forest floor.
This is it, Lan Zhan thought, refusing to close his eyes, forcing himself to keep his gaze open, eyes locked onto Wei Ying’s.
Then, there was a glow coming from behind Wei Ying, Lan Zhan’s eyes widened as it wound around them before pulling, taking both of them with it.

Yuuji only knows two things about his scent: it's strong and it's sweet. After presenting as a prime omega and sending his entire class running away from the strength of his scent, he's been on suppressants and scent blockers and masquerading as a beta for his own safety. He doesn't really mind. He doesn't mind that the alpha he's had a crush on for years doesn't know he's an omega, and he doesn't mind that he'd probably hate his scent even if he did. Satoru Gojo isn't even here anymore, after all. So he's fine. He's getting by.
But after Satoru Gojo is released from the Prison Realm, things slowly start to shift. The higher-ups take an interest in Yuuji's designation, and Gojo is the only one who can keep him safe by declaring himself his prospective mate.
It's a good thing Gojo really likes sugar.
(It's even better that he likes Yuuji most of all.)
