“I dunno,” Satoru says, intelligently.
The man’s brows furrow with concern, a few strands of blond hair falling loose over his eyes. He tries again, repeating the question as if Satoru is rather slow. Satoru can’t blame him; his jaw is hanging open unusually gormlessly as he drowns in the man’s deep voice.
Steel-gray eyes—
“Sir, are you alright?”
More concern in that voice, and when annoyance mixes into the baritone, Satoru is a goner—
