Summary
Will rubbed his palms against Mike’s hips, teasing. He looked up at him, doe eyed. “Why don’t you just take that anger out on me?”
Mike sputtered. “What? Will, that’s crazy.”

Summary
A year after Vecna’s defeat, Will’s powers surge back without warning, waking Mike in the middle of the night. He finds Will feverish, panicked, and struggling to understand what’s happening to his own body. Determined to help, Mike stays with him through it all, until comfort turns into something messy and undeniably intimate.
In the aftermath, they’re left tangled together in the dark—Will asleep in Mike’s bed, and Mike wide awake with the realization that what happened between them can’t be undone… and neither can the way he feels about it.

Summary
“Will, what do you mean ‘figure something out?’ I can only get the blood from Hopper I—I can’t just go hunt a fucking deer on campus. In the middle of New York?”
“I’m sure you’d figure something out,” Will smirks. He leans against the wall with a slight nudge, casually confident. “I mean, you’re a vampire. Can’t you like… Turn into a bat, or something. Like in Fright Night?”
“I wish,” he scoffs. “It’s less like the movies.”
“Why don’t you…drink from me?”
or;
Mike has been a vampire for a few years now and runs out of blood bags to keep him satiated. His best friend offers to lend a bloody hand.

Summary
The screaming is unusual.
Will’s nightmares rarely announce themselves like this. They usually arrive quietly, in the form of a locked jaw, trembling limbs, a desperate, instinctive commitment to silence. His fear is usually swallowed and choked back, even in slumber.
———————
Or, Will starts screaming in the night. Of course, Mike is there to comfort and protect him. But that’s just friendship… right?
———————
This is my love letter to Byler. Who in my heart end up together no matter what. It’s an exploration of genuine emotion, care, shared trauma and love in a friendship and how that can develop into something more. Something they’ve both waited a long time for.
