For a second Barty thinks that he might go free. Evan still seems to be sleeping. The snow will melt without him ever knowing it was there, only leaving an inexplainable wet spot on the bedding. Tearing his eyes away from the snow currently being melted by Evans body’s warmth, Barty turns back towards the door, the light seeping through the crack under it calling for him.

In the beginning, the time he spends with Peter is incredibly boring. Just herbology with herbology on top. But then things start to change.
Peter started giggling under his breath at Bartys dumb jokes. Peter started playfully kicking him under the table whenever he said something outrageous. In turn Barty begins to stay longer.
He would stay with Peter longer, then get to Evan late, and by the time they got done, it would be too late to walk the halls back to his own dorm. Well, he tried it anyway but after getting caught twice he decided to just stay over. To just sleep in Evans bed.
Nothing weird about that. Mates do that all the time.

“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
