Summary
Years had passed since Riko Kashimoto's first trainee had a career ending injury. Blaming herself she had retreated back to her country home, retiring from Tracen and her training career. Despite her doubts on her abilities, she had silently taken in a new Uma Musume, Little Cocon, and began developing a new philopshy of what it meant to be a trainer. She didn't know if she would ever officially return to the track, but she knew she could never allow for another terrible incident to happen under her watch, no matter the cost. Knowing the price of her own mistakes could cost her trainees dreams, she decided she was content with this lifestyle.
It was to her suprise when a friend from the past, director Akikawa, needed her to take over Tracen Academy while she was away. Due to owing a favor, she reluctantly agreed. She believed returning to the academy, even as acting director would bring her closure and reinvigorate her old self, yet she found herself extremely uneasy with this new positon. Everything was just as she had left it, a complete mess just waiting for trainers to repeat her errors that had resulted in tragedy. Something had to change.

Summary
Trainers are level headed and disciplined, dedicated to helping their trainee thrive and achieve their goals. Each Uma Musume is different, but trainers always try their best to help. They may not always have the answers, but their guidance is undeniable. Biwa Hayahide and WInning TIcket figure this could be exactly what Narita Taishin is missing. Unfortunately, prospects haven't been looking good in that department, and Taishin isn't keen on going looking for one, which is why her friends decide to take it upon themselves.
After searching all day, they are left with one option. But what if this rookie trainer, doesn't exactly fit the mold of what Biwa Hayahide and Winning Ticket were thinking of? Will a trainer just as moody and problem ridden as Narita Taishin really be able to help? Will it even be an improvement?
