    Summary

Eddie sighs and leans back in his chair. The plastic groans in protest under the weight of him. “You know, what sucks about all of this is that now I have to re-examine my biases. If Steve Harrington is actually, deep down, a decent guy, that means any of those asshole preps might be hiding a secret heart of gold. I mean, who’s next, Jason Carver?”

This makes Ant laugh rather hysterically. Eddie can’t tell if he’s doing it for dramatic effect or if he really thinks Eddie is that funny. “Okay, maybe not,” he concedes. “But you get my point.”

(the title is from a Mötley Crüe song of the same name)

    Bookmarker's Notes

“Sure, whatever. Bathroom break for everybody.”

THIS FIC. This scene makes me feel so many emotions and I always forget where it is

    Summary

"He'll have to get Dustin out to take a look at everything tomorrow, before Steve gets tired enough to start making up ghosts out of malfunctioning equipment to keep him company at night."

    -----------

The graveyard shift at WSQK isn't all that bad, Steve just wishes the equipment would stop deciding that his shift is the perfect time to start freaking out. He's got enough going on without trying to bullshit through a late night talk show to fill time - he especially doesn't need to start thinking he's maybe hearing a voice in the static.

    Summary

Steve, in true Steve fashion, has somehow ended up with three separate valentines:

    1. Robin. They have plans for February 13th, because Robin is single and demanded that Steve do something fun with her because 'you're the closest thing to a boyfriend I'm ever going to have, Dingus'.

    2. Jane. They have plans for late morning to mid-afternoon on Valentine's day. She was sad because everyone else in the party had Valentine's plans and she didn't, so Steve offered to do something with her.

    3. Eddie. His boyfriend. They have plans for Valentine's day, late afternoon to evening (after Steve brings Jane home). Steve's still not sure if Wayne knows they're dating.

Oh, and also, Steve promised Max he would drive her and Lucas to the movies for their date in between the time he brought Jane home and picked Eddie up.

AKA the Valentine's adventures of a very good babysitter.

    Summary

Steve's feet stumbled more than walked, but Hopper didn't care. He half-carried, half-dragged the kid toward the emergency room doors, his jaw clenched so tight it ached. Every step felt like it took too long.

As the two of them started to slowly stumble to the front of the ER, Hopper took a brief moment to think about it. Took a moment to think how despite everything—despite barely knowing the kid, despite all his preconceptions and assumptions, despite the amount of times Steve had purposefully acted like a smart-ass punk just to piss him off—Hopper had realized something tonight:

Steve Harrington was a good kid.
