The woman turned to look up at her with sky blue eyes. After a moment she offered Jinx a brilliant smile that pinched the corners of her eyes. “Yes, can I help you?”
Damn, her voice was like the ringing of church bells. Though she had a pretty thick accent that Jinx had trouble placing. An international student? Well she had to learn the rules sometime. “You're in my seat.”

It started, as always, with the eyes. Jinx’s steely blue appeared to light from within with an electric pink, starting from the pupils and bleeding outwards until it took over entirely. The colour began to bleed into her hair next, but as it progressed to the tips it was clear it was a darker magenta-purple ombre. Her smile seemed to grow, but it was actually her teeth growing longer and sharper as a growl began to fill her throat.
Her skin colour darkened until it was the same as her tattoos, rendering them almost invisible. At the same time her arms and legs lengthened until she was standing on digitigrade feet, muscles bulged, and finger and toenails sharpened into wicked claws. Most startling, a pair of wings sprouted from her shoulder blades, closely resembling those of a bat, and a muscular tail extended from her coccyx. Now nearly a head taller, wings stretched to fullness, she seemed to take up the entire room.
The growl grew into a roar as these changes overtook her, bones and muscles reforming into a new shape. As the changes completed, her eyes dimmed. Still pink but no longer shining as if lit from within. No longer human, a gargoyle now stood in Lux's bedroom.

Or maybe it was impatience. Or hunger. It was impossible to tell with the girl who always seemed to be moving or fiddling with something. “You haven't even heard her play yet.”
“Don't need to,” the blue-haired menace contested hotly. “I ain't trusting our big performance to some stuck up blonde princess.”
When Ezreal's impromptu trip leaves Jinx and her friends' band in a bind, there's only one person who can get them out. If one hotheaded hellraiser will let her.
