Being alone, lonely even, has become tiring and the Snow Queen has grown weary of it - and she wants that to change. She wants to find someone to stay with her for eternity.
Except that nobody sees her as herself. When she travels the world, she’s disguised as a beautiful woman in a fur coat, unattainable, untouchable, and nobody dares to approach her. As for her role as Queen of the Snow, it terrifies everyone, and nobody sees her as a person, only as the cold.
She needs someone to accept her as she is, someone who would want to be around her regardless of what she’s meant to do. She wants someone who would like to know her, the real her.Meanwhile, Kai wishes to understand the world, satiate his curiosity. He also finds that snowflakes are the only thing he still perceives as beautiful and wishes to understand why.

The first thing she did after moving in was go out. She’d been staying over at a friend’s before that, and hadn’t had the opportunity to just go out and have fun on her own terms – either because of work or because, well, she didn’t want to impose by going out and coming back at whatever time in an apartment that wasn’t hers. But now, living alone, with her own job that frankly didn’t pay all that great but paid enough for her to be able to afford a night out if she was careful about her spendings, she wanted to go out and have a night of fun.
Her flat was fairly well situated, all things considered, and not far from one of the queer areas of the city. That had been a criteria of hers, when she’d been looking, and she was very happy about finding it easily enough. She’d noticed a few lgbtq+ bars around as well, and she liked that. One of them in particular, the “B4Bar”, a retro-looking queer bar with flags of plenty across the furniture, had seemed to… call for her.--
Darcy was switched out of Higgs when she was younger and didn't meet Tara. She finally was out of her parents' control, finally in her own space, and, well... She just wanted to live her life now. But hey, you need friends, in life.

Summary
Satoru is hungry for knowledge, that much is clear and not for the first time Suguru wishes he could burn the entire Gojo Clan and all their Elders down.
None of them deserve to be around Satoru, not if they keep him stifled and small like this.
“Okay, with this you should be able to see my true form. Do you think you can apply everything at once?”
Satoru doesn't answer him, too concentrated on doing what Suguru asked of him and Suguru knows he succeeded when he lets out a small gasp.
“You're a kitsune!”
There's no fear in Satoru’s face, even though he must be able to see Suguru's eight tails and for a brief moment Suguru wonders if the Elders also failed him in these teachings.
But then Satoru reaches out, carding his fingers through Suguru's fur like he has any right to do so and Suguru's heart sings.
Some part of Satoru remembers.
