Taking advantage of the distraction, Steve leans over and snags the flannel Eddie had been wearing out from behind him, shrugging it on quickly before Eddie realizes what he’s doing.
Annoyingly enough, it takes several minutes for Eddie to notice.
“No, not the flannel,” Eddie warns when he finally glances over, closing his notebook slowly and putting it to the side. “You’re holding half my wardrobe hostage already!”
Steve snickers, standing up and backing away a few feet.
“I guess you’re just going to have to come get it, then.”
(Or: 5 times Steve steals Eddie's clothes, and one time Eddie returns the favor.)

“I have a dick, don’t I?” Steve snaps back. Eddie thanks his personal pantheon of indifferent gods that his face is already pink with annoyance, so he doesn’t humiliate himself by blushing over nothing more than an oblique reference to Steve Harrington’s dick.
“Just because you have one doesn’t mean–”
"You're the one who has no basis for comparison! I at least have some kind of experience with blow jobs. Lots of experience, in fact."
"Yes, we all know you're a huge slut, Steve," Eddie says. "No need to brag."
Every time Steve comes over to Eddie's to smoke up, they end up in some kind of stupid argument. Usually it's about music, or movies, or whether Dustin should ever be allowed to have a pet again. But tonight, somehow–Eddie can't remember exactly how it got started, but he definitely blames Steve–they're in each other's faces about which of them gives better head.

Summary
The ferocity with which Eddie Munson’s beast hungers for him, and him alone, scares him. It is a hunger that can only be satiated by the sweet fruit of love and desire - by the dark red that drips down his wrists as he bites into it, as he sinks his teeth into the supple flesh and claims, consumes.
But Eddie always ends up falling into temptation. He’ll give into the beast’s coaxing for him to turn around and face it - and he’ll blink and Steve will be under him, or on top of him, in his bed like he never left it to begin with. And Eddie will lose himself to the beast once more.
Until he blinks again, and years have passed - Steve is gone, and where Eddie’s heart should be is a shredded hole where the beast has torn it apart.
And he’ll have to start all over again. He’ll pick up the pieces, push the beast back down, ignore the ache in his chest that Steve has left behind. Try to live a life without him. Only to fall prey to the exact same thing, years later.

On his thirteenth birthday, Eddie Munson received his first kiss. Steve had snuck out from his home, just to bring Eddie a cupcake and the gift he’d made for him. A guitar pick with a hole drilled into the top so that Steve could make it into a necklace.
Eddie had immediately put it on and had felt overwhelmed with how much he loved his best friend.
They shared the cupcake and talked quietly for a while, before Steve had said he had one more gift for him. In Eddie’s confusion, he’d never expected Steve Harrington to lean in and press a soft, tentative kiss to his lips.
It was over as quickly as it began. And though this should’ve made Eddie feel excited, there was a deep sense of dread settling in his stomach.
