Summary
When kids ask "Trick or Treat?" at front doors on Halloween, they never think much of it. It's just what they've come to know as the way to ask for a treat on this special night, the 'trick' part of the prompt almost always forgotten.
Izuku Midoriya is in for a cruel surprise when he's unexpectedly met with one big trick when all he wanted was a few treats.
Lonely and sad, expecting nothing good to come out of trick or treating anymore, he's surprised again when a boy dressed as a wolf fixes his whole night with a simple gesture.

"The noises grew louder and louder as whatever it was came closer to the white room. The boy pushed even further into the corner, cursing the lack of escape.
The door where the two legs usually emerged slid open.
A bunch of new two legs, wearing bright colors so unlike the white he was used to seeing the humans wear, stood in the door.
One walked forward slowly. He was so big compared to the small cat form the boy was in so he made himself grow. The closer the two leg got, the more dangerous. He need to scare him off.
So he made himself into the tiger again, growling and hissing at the man to stay back. When that didn’t work, he tried a wolf form. He was a little smaller in this form, but his teeth were longer. He looked more threatening when he pulled back his lips to snarl. "
A story heavily inspired by the fic, Feral by MoonPaw17. Izuku is raised as a feral child by criminal scientists. Heroes step in to save the boy from his life but it may not be as easy to help the boy as they had originally though it would be.
