Summary
Merlin visits Lake Avalon every year on the anniversary of Arthur's death. Every year, he makes the same wish - that he would once again be reunited with Arthur.
Merlin lies down in the grassy outcrop that replaced the dried up lake and dreams of Arthur. He still thinks he's dreaming when Lake Avalon fills back up with thrashing, frigid water and threatens to take him away from the land of the living.
When Merlin is drowning, he dreams of Arthur's face. He dreams that he feels Arthur's strong arms holding him once again, pulling him from the grasp of the lake and onto the safety of the shoreline.
Merlin still thinks he's dreaming when Arthur speaks to him and reassures him that he's here to stay. It's almost too real for Merlin to handle.
But, what if it wasn't a dream, after all?

In which Merlin is immortal, used all of his free time to do things because he'd go crazy otherwise and got filthy rich like an old vampire without meaning to, hung out with Shakespeare and a bunch of other people because why not, got gifted a pretty Cadillac that he hates by a charity he'd forgotten he'd donated to, and has a too-high alcohol tolerance for his liking.
Oh, and he bought Avalon Lake.
Because "Shut up, I just like looking at this lake and no, I don't need help, mental or otherwise."

Essentiellement : Merlin dans le monde moderne, riche et déprimé, qui a acheté un lac et tente de se bourré la tête pour ignorer le jolie bleu du lac. Sauf que, dommage pour lui, c'est un immortel dont la magie soigné tous poisons et, don, l'alcool.
Et, et d'après l'actrice, Arthur est beau sur des draps de soi noir, et en y pensait, je ne peux m'empêcher d'être d'accord. -

C'est ... profondément triste. Mais le style d'écriture est original donc c'est appréciable. Ça décrit la folie mélancolique ou l'n peut tomber a la perte de tous nos êtres chères, et où seul l'espoir nous permet de garder les yeux ouverts pour voir un autre jour.
...
Et l'immortalité aussi.
Parce que Merlin est immortel.
Et que ça parle essentiellement de Merlin à Poudlard triste pour Arthur.
