Summary
Ellen has awoken in Hell with no memory on how she got there. To make matters worse, she wasn't dead, not if her human look had anything to say about it. With the help of those at the Hazbin Hotel she is hoping to find a way home, but being the first mortal soul in Hell, she attracts the attention of a certain Radio Demon.
What she hoped was a short visit, has dragged on and she's left wondering if there is something else going on behind the scenes. Was she sent to Hell on purpose? Who could have done something like that and why? And why does it seem like trouble follows her everywhere? Strap in for a wild ride as Ellen is learning how to survive Hell and unravel her purpose, while maybe pulling Alastor along with her. What if there had been someone else there when the Nein found Lucien in Eisselcross, someone who could see more than they should, someone who knew what it was like to always be on the outside looking in? This is a retelling of the story we all know with one little change added in, and that change's name is Namila Bagheri. Together with our favorite grumpy dirt wizard, she will try to see through the masks and the lies that Lucien uses as armor against a world he has long since learned not to trust. Will they be able to change his fate? Will they be able to reclaim the friend they went to Foren to find? Only time will tell.
An AU retelling of the final arc of Campaign 2 as I think it would go if there was someone there to counter the anger and distrust the Nein feel and show when they first meet the Tombtakers in the ruins of A5.
