Thought the haze of alcohol and grief rendered him impervious to those fuckers, to the way they acted so god-damn human, like they had any fucking idea...

    And then that smug little shit, currently sat in his passenger seat - back ramrod straight, eyes shut - waltzed into Jimmy's and thoroughly fucked his day up.

    And so what if his face looked like someone dragged it out of Hank's most embarrassing wet dreams, all rain-streaked and freckled and chiseled like a fucking Renaissance statue? So what if his voice sent a bolt of arousal straight down his spine when it told him about a god-damn murder, of all things?
