As ironic as it is, the euphoria of being empty is inconsistent at best. There are some days that feeling hollow and light fills Tim with a confidence otherwise foreign to him, but the rest of the time it just hurts. There is no pleasant buzz of an empty stomach today, just the echoing ache of hunger.

Summary
Fondness for Bruce bloomed in Tim's chest. He mustered a small smile. "Thanks, Dad. I'll really- it'll be fine. I want to see him."
"I know you do," Bruce said with warm eyes, "But don't hurt yourself in the process."
A statement that was almost laughable, given how long this family had been putting their lives and bodies on the line in the pursuit of hope in a better future. But it was said with such immutability, like it was inevitable. Bruce would make it true somehow, that Tim didn't hurt himself here and now. It was that unspoken faith between them that prompted Tim to push open the door.

“Yes. A road trip to the lake house, to be specific,” Alfred said, his voice calm but unwavering.
Bruce stifled a chuckle. “A road trip? Alfred, this family can hardly get through a meal without wanting to strangle each other, and you want to trap us all in a van for a 19 hour drive?”
Alfred didn’t so much as flinch. “Precisely. Nineteen hours of uninterrupted time together. Think of it as an opportunity to reconnect, sir. Sometimes, people just need to be around each other long enough to remember why they care. And I’m certain it will be worth the trip.”

The family is fighting more than usual, so Alfred suggests they take a 19 hour road trip to the old Wayne family lake house that hasn't been used since Bruce was a child. In the kids mind, being packed in a van with no phones and no escape sounds like a nightmare on wheels. They're not exactly wrong.
Bruce can only hope he makes it out of this trip with the same amount of kids he started with.

In an effort to provide closure for each of the former Robins and current Robin, Dick Grayson comes up with the idea that they each need to hold a ceremony where they officially pass on the Robin title to the next sibling.
What he didn't expect was not only how healing it would be, but how many painful memories seemed to surround the legacy that is Robin. But maybe it's good to acknowledge the pain, the hurt, and the trauma. Isn't that how you're meant to grow and move on?
And if anyone deserves to move on, isn't it the Robins?
