Summary
He lowers himself a little, properly catching Mike’s eyes and then says gently, “How’re you feeling?”
“Shit.” There are still hot, beading tears on his face and he can feel where the blood is drying, just like it has on the floor. “Will.” Mike says, blinking slowly because even that hurts.
And then his thigh grows warmer and without looking down, Mike knows that Will’s hand has come to rest there, he knows the shape of his fingers, the soft but steady touch.
OR: After an attack, Will tends to Mike's wounds.

“Are you and Will doing okay?” Nancy blurts out.
Mike turns his head around so quickly that Nancy is surprised he doesn’t give himself whiplash. “W-what?” he stammers, turning an even brighter shade of red. “Why would you ask that? Of course, we’re doing okay.”
Or:
The one in which Nancy must solve the mystery of what's going on between Mike and Will.

Summary
Mike’s weight is usually a comfortable pressure on his chest, not too heavy but just enough to mellow out the frantic buzzing that sometimes inhibits Will’s body on bad nights. He is, however, sharp. This usually proves to be an issue only when Will is trying to wake him from his dead-guy-adjacent sleep and jostles him enough to be poked by a knee or an elbow or a—
“Jesus Christ.”
—a shoulder.
Mike sleeps in. Will suffers.

Summary
“Max is a girl on our school’s softball team,” Lucas explains, since Mike’s statement is severely lacking. “Jane wants to woo her, so we're helping her learn how to play before the tryouts.”
Dustin gestures at the two of them, as if to say: there you have it.
Jane isn’t quite sure what “it” is supposed to be- but judging by the expression on Steve’s face, he doesn’t seem to think that they have much of anything. She tries to picture what they must look like; the five of them, with their school backpacks, silly graphic T-shirts, and hand-me-down flannels. Not like a promising softball team, certainly.
“Thoughts?” Dustin prompts.
“And prayers,” says Steve.
Jane has a crush, and the boys try their very best to act as her wingmen.
