“I know.” Connor gathers bubbles again; this time, he’s trying to make them look like a snowman. The room is quiet save for the water, the slight fuzzy sounds of Connor fiddling with bubbles, and Hank’s breathing. Then—
“Does it involve me hurting you?”
Connor crushes his bubble snowman accidentally.
“Christ,” Hank mutters. He scrubs a hand over his face and Connor burns.
Connor's been acting reckless and keeping secrets; Hank finally gets the truth out of him.
