Tim was never meant to be Robin. He knew that- he was just a stand-in, someone to be used until Batman was better or another Robin came along- he wasn't family. So, he hid his identity from everyone. No one knew who the third Robin was, not even Batman. Why is it, then, that the Waynes so interested in Timothy Drake? And why now, of all times?
OR: The Batfamily have been trying to lure Agent C back into the family ever since he ran away. It's a slow-going process. In the meantime, Damian has latched onto Timothy Drake, and is teaming up with Dick to try and adopt him. Whether he wants to be adopted or not.

Summary
Tim and Damian are injured in an accidental explosion that destroys Gotham High and Gotham Academy. Damian's injuries are more severe than Tim's, leaving his life hanging by a thread, and the Batfamily struggles to come to terms with his injuries. They must learn to rely on strangers to help their littlest member while coping with their own grief, confusion, and guilt.

4 of them , him and a cliff . A way like many others to one of his safe houses . He mentally checks himself, making sure his mask is in his possession as he takes a step back and looks down in time to see a few pecks of dirt dislodge from the edge of the cliff and fall , down, down, down into cold icey winter water.
They take a step forward, Red Hood twitches and his hands raise subconsciously. Almost as to put them out in peace offering or an attempt to stop Damian from jumping , which Hood can’t do.
“Kid.” Nightwing. Tries to coax him into smoothness, into relax . Damian knows better than to sway to soft spoken words , especially his name . His mother would do the same but the outcome would be treacherous several almost fatal wounds and days without getting fed. So no he does nothing but glare at Nightwing.- Language:

Summary
Damian had lived his first life stuck in an internal battle he was fated to one day lose. Not because of what other people did, but because of what he's done to himself. He didn't see himself as someone worthy of second chances, not when he had messed things up so badly the first time around. So when Damian reopened his eyes after thinking it impossible, he was understandably very upset.
And to add insult to injury, he'd not only come back to life, but he'd come back as his infant self with a family that cared a little too much for Damian's comfort.
