Pd: Viktor's plan fails. Part of Jayce's mind travels to the alternate universe where Vi dies because of him. He is now a man with a shattered mind, trapped with a blue-haired girl who hates him.

Summary
28 years after the Hero Himmel’s passing.
Frieren and Fern are heading towards the Wille Region within their journey. However, they had an unexpected encounter within the woods. Or rather, he found them. Meet Jasper, a 70 year old demon from the outskirts living with his elderly human sister. A letter, a favor from a good friend a while back, Frieren is (forced) to take in the young demon. Demons are monsters who evolved from mimicking human speech. They lie, hunt and kill humans just because they can. But what if a demon was around humans from the start?
