Summary
Nine months ago, on the eve of Adam's targeted attack on the hotel, Alastor made a deal with Lucifer: Provide him a legitimate link to the royal bloodline and sever his deal, and he would swear allegiance to Charlie Morningstar in feast and in famine.
Desperate to keep his daughter safe, Lucifer agreed and paid the price with his flesh. However...he's not quite the easy mark Alastor imagined him to be and the Prince of Lies still has a few tricks of up his sleeve.

The demon seemed to notice the notebook lying in front of Alastor. His brow furrowed and annoyance clearly settled on his features. “How the fuck do you have Solomon's grimoire? That thing should be in hell.”
“I'm afraid I don't have an answer to that question, my dear.” Alastor absentmindedly pointed to the head behind the demon. “I took it from that individual, who, as you can see, is quite dead.”
Or: Alastor summoned a very stressed Lucifer who has only known for a day and half that he is pregnant. Too bad he found out the news 6 days after Lilith left.

Lucifer was understandably shocked when some fallen angel, that he didn’t even know was in Hell mind you, bursted into his workshop (and the rest of his palace frankly) to yell at him for how he’s poorly been treating his daughter.
(Lies… all lies. Why would Lilith tell their daughter such lies?)
But! It all worked out in the end! Charlie wanted him in her and Vaggie’s lives and at their Hotel! Just… not as Lucifer. Luckily he was a shapeshifter and Imps were found all over Pride. And as Lucifer’s ‘royal secretary’ Lueur Magne was expected to check up on Hell’s Princess as much as possible!
Now if only that stupid busboy would leave him, his girls and his duck alone!
