Summary
Not even hours after becoming one with Vergil, V finds himself waking in an endless void, the spheres of his familiars floating beside him. Suddenly a voice and a bright light appears, and the half soul begins to feel whole.
Flying through the void, he lands in a chapel in front of a young woman, finding out that she was the reason he was there - his own person - not of his former self. The reason why?
She needed a savior, a last ditch effort to bring someone to save her world from the demonic pandemic taking place. She only needed to give him half of her soul in the process.
V finds himself a new man with a new goal; to be the good guy for once. He helps the young woman with her plight, and - as much as he hates it - falls for her along the way.
