Those who die traumatically are said to not rest peacefully. With a life unfulfilled; Bree is Reborn, reincarnated in a different world. Surprisingly she’s fairly familiar with it all. This is the world she had only seen on her computer screen, on the pages of books or tales told by creative storytellers.

It was supposed to be my day off, you know, a day to relax, maybe run a campaign with my friends. I've been the Dungeon Master of my friends group for the past three years and I'm not going to lie, I'm getting bored.

As for Illyria Strange, almost 3 years have passed since the closing of the portal and her patience is running thin. Working with Darcy Lewis and a British Engineering Professor to find a solution, she longs for the new life she forged with a certain elf and family beyond reality. But then there are falling elves with silmarils, hidden reincarnated elves and the End of Arda somehow pop out of the blue. She realised now this is not worth the dissertation.

Summary
Several years ago, a postdoctoral student named Elizabeth found herself landing in Middle Earth, a place that she had read and watched many times before. Only, this Middle Earth was different- darker. The Last Alliance of Elves and Men never happened for the elves abandoned mankind by forming a secret truce with Sauron. Mankind eventually won the war at great cost and quickly turned on those who betrayed them, the elves. Now, all elves in Middle Earth are hunted, and those caught are enslaved.
In this strange and dark version of Middle Earth, Elizabeth found her way to Minas Tirith, became a heralded healer, and eventually her medical skills, knowledge of Middle Earth, and whits granted her the honorable position of Head Advisor to the King. For many years she has served Gondor well and fallen in love with this magical- if at times barbaric place. Yet, all this changes when an elf she recognizes shows up. Now, she finds herself navigating the dark waters of politics whilst trying to keep both her morality and responsibilities in tact.
What will happen when she finds herself the master of an elven slave she never wished to own?
