Summary

This story loosely follows the plot of the book series but is written how I imagine it happening, following Harry's life and all of its ups and downs.

As of today, 08/01/2022, I published the first chapter of this story under VictoriqueWrites on Wattpad. I did some minor edits there as well, but I intend to publish the rest of the chapters, perhaps one or two a week until the all of what I currently have is uploaded there.

Summary
Arthur thought this must be some strange, subconscious interpretation of his worry over Merlin’s disappearance translated into a dream in his restless sleep. If it didn’t feel so real, he may have pinched himself. After several seconds of silence, he choked out a lone sentence. “You think that’s,” he gestured to the undeniably beautiful maiden in their company, “Merlin?”

In which Merlin gets kidnapped and turned into a girl by an unknown sorcerer plaguing Camelot, and assumes a fake identity while touring the Kingdom with King Arthur. Gwen knows, Gaius knows, the knights know, Arthur knows, and absolutely no one else can find out. Arthur finds himself more and more enchanted (figuratively speaking) with this "new" Merlin, but when the spell wears off, and Arthur realizes that the original Merlin looks just as, if not more beautiful than he did as a girl, and his affections did not just disappear upon seeing Merlin returned to a man, he's forced to confront feelings he hadn't realized he had been suppressing. Merlin is really bad at taking the hints.

Summary
Harry is depressed after Sirius's passing. He is tired of living the multiple lies people see him as, and wants to learn who he truly is. After running away from the Dursleys, Harry spends an eye-opening summer learning about himself, his so-called friends, and who he can truly turn to. He returns to Hogwarts a changed man, a new man, who is not afraid to be himself and is ready to turn the war upside down, finding his true family and love along the way.
