Summary
Eddie really liked Tommy.
If asked, he could give a long list of reasons why.
Tommy was an army guy, like Eddie himself, they had a lot of shared experiences.
Tommy was witty, he always had a one liner ready to throw out.
Tommy was into MMA, and muay thai, and he could fly Eddie to games.
Tommy would play pickup with him even when Buck always said no.
Tommy was good with Christopher. He had an easy charm with Eddie’s preteen son, and he had lots of stories that Christopher couldn’t quite get enough of.
And, the most important reason, Tommy had been a huge part of the reason Athena and Bobby had survived.
The problem was… Eddie kind of couldn’t fucking stand Tommy.
OR -
Eddie goes through the stages of grief watching Buck and Tommy together and gets progressively more unhinged as his jealousy builds. No bashing of Marisol or Tommy in this, they're just not right for Eddie and Buck.

Summary
Five years after Castiel's death, Dean has built a life in Murphy, North Carolina. A decent life, with a house he built with his own hands, and Jack, now five years old and beginning kindergarten in the fall. Only, after a string of failed relationships and sleepless nights staring at the urn on his windowsill, he makes an unwilling decision--to bury Castiel for good.
Only, the night he and Jack bury Castiel's ashes, the unthinkable happens--Castiel rises from the dead, wounded from his time in the Empty, and with his resurrection comes questions Dean never thought he would need answered. Namely, how long will Castiel stay with him--and will the Empty come back for him, once and for all?

Summary
-
Does it count as a midlife crisis when you buy a house and renovate it in secret, not telling your brother a single thing about it?
Well, Dean most certainly doesn't handle Cas' death very well and so somehow he ends up grieving in his own special way: by building a home and praying that one day he will share it with someone very particular.
Deep down Dean knows it's a futile hope and probably not really healthy to cling onto it so desperately, but at the end of the day dreams occasionally come true, even for a Winchester.
Right?
