Though Midoriya’s eyes don’t lose their strange glassiness, he perks up immediately, “Eri?”
Eri leaps into his view, and holds out a candied apple triumphantly to Midoriya. It’s one of the better ones, with fewer lumps in the red candy coating, and the stick a little more securely jabbed in. She grins brightly, glowing with pride, “For you!”
“For me?” Midoriya asks, mouth falling open.
Eri and Mirio probably should have let Midoriya continue to sleep, but they woke him because Eri wanted to share the candy apples she'd made. Now he's awake and acting... off.
