There was another student here.
Tom recognized him vaguely—while transfer students were not necessarily uncommon due to the war, they were rare enough to at least make an impression. This particular transfer student was in his year, sorted into Ravenclaw after an impressively long hat stall. He looked like he might be descended from the Potter line, but he did not share the surname so his lineage was of no particular interest to Tom. Nothing about him was of particular interest to Tom, in fact, and yet here he stood, holding the book that Tom had come here to find.
It would be a good time to turn away. The Restricted Section was restricted for a reason—only books documenting extremely dangerous or extremely advanced magic were stored here.
Tom’s feet, however, suddenly felt as if they were made of lead. It wasn’t magic keeping him tied down, but something far more mysterious like curiosity or even fate. In any case, the delay was all it took for the Ravenclaw to lift his chin and meet Tom’s eyes.
This Ravenclaw, Tom realized, had eyes as blindingly green as the Killing Curse.

HotGuy and CuteGuy trying to solve the mystery of their missing families but theyre actually the same family? I binged this im 3 days and ive never been so emotionally devastated by reading the last chapter of a fic
I love the characterizations of everyone, the villains who are bad for the fun of it, the overhanging effects of the council, the interactions between the different characters, the fear of the void, and finding boatem again
I could go on for hours but this fic was amazing and i loved it

I cant believe i clocked the bad guy from his mention, im almost never able to do that
It was just something about Alistair that rubbed me the wrong way, i just didn't like him from the beginningThis entire fic was such a rollercoaster, with Stan getting hurt, abducted, blackmailed, and threatened. Ford's mistrust, hurt, frustration and feelings of betrayal.
Stan just wanting to keep his family safe even if he has to lie and go behind their backs, even if he makes them hate him, will never fail to get me
Then the last few chapters, the big chase in the abandoned buildings,ford finding stan and helping him, the car chase, the crash, ford getting kidnapped and stan in the hospital, the attempted assassination and torture, rico almost dying and stan making sure he'd be helped, the other car chase and crash, the huge fight in the barn, stan saving Alistair and almost immediately being betrayed again, every instance just kept stacking on each other and it made everything so much more intense.
I loved this fic so much 10/10

Im sad it took me this long to read such a masterpiece
The immediate worry that shook Ford out of his anger has my heart in a chokehold and little Stan!! I love him!!
I also love that he ended up helping Fiddleford before his mind was completely gone
Bill made me want to scream and tear out my hair, i need these boys to be happy so much
And the manifestation of Stans mindplace was so cool, i love when they were able to 'defeat' bill
And the ending!! The art too!! This entire fic was so good 10/10 will read again -
