Having been trapped for a few-too-many loops, Siffrin started to feel like nothing was going to change in their never ending play. How were they supposed to predict that the universe would put something so large to block their path to freedom? Literally?
'Something' the size of a mountain.
Literally.
Most would argue that the only way to go once you've hit rock bottom is up, but Siffrin would argue that you can always dig down. Underground, even.

Summary
Loop had died. They deserved it. And now they were back to the start, sitting under the same tree, with an unsaved country and a clueless Siffrin.
They know the answer. The Escape Route. It's as simple as telling him. This time it'll be done and over with before the Loops even hit double digits.They discover much to their horror that he is not the one looping.

She doesn’t quite know what this thing is, but she can tell that it’s some form of punishment. A result of her crime.
When you have a bat, everything looks like a ball.
