Summary:
When Obi-Wan dies by Anakin's hand, he expects that to be the end.

The story of Luke's year growing wings, featuring lots of fevers, weakness, and adjusting to his new life circumstances, told in a collection of oneshots. Inspired by Ursula K Le Guin’s book Changing Planes, specifically the chapter “The Fliers of Gy," where there's humanoids who spend a feverish year growing wings starting at age 18-19. HIGHLY recommend the book and chapter.
