“You’re telling me? Like, I’m not even sure if this isn’t a dream.” Just to be annoying, Wemmbu reaches over and pinches him. “Wh- Bro!” He protests. “Are you actually two? No way you actually just pinched me. Are you— You’re actually not real.” In turn, Flame swats at him, like Wemmbu was some pest that was irritating him. Honestly, it was a pretty accurate comparison.
“What? Bro! You’re the one who said you weren’t sure this was a dream. I just made sure you knew it wasn’t a dream!”
“I was joking! Yo— Have you never used a figure of speech in your life, bro? Are you actually tryin’ to ragebait me? I’m going to kill you, bro. Forget everything about honor.”

After they had defeated The Law, Wemmbu and Egg headed off, no concern for the wounds littering their body from the fight. Luckily, MinuteTech shows up to force them to be taken care of and rested, and maybe teaches Wemmbu how it feels to be cared for by someone other than Egg.

Egg always admired Wemmbu’s hair.
The shimmer that overtook it in the light, the lovely purple colour, the fact it grew faster than he’s seen any mortal’s hair ever grow.
Maybe it was because it was so interesting that Egg liked nights like these. Nights he could braid and style it to whatever he wanted, as long as he brushed it out the next morning. And, the best part, Wemmbu said he hated it most of the time. When Egg proudly announced he’d finished and shoved a mirror at the other man’s face, the other would scowl or sigh or pout.
He could tell, though. The angel could always tell. Something about the look on his face every time said something else.
