Summary
The first thing he notices, or rather person, is Master Qui-Gon looking down at him with a worried expression. It takes a few seconds for Obi-Wan to register what’s out of place for this image.
“Master, you managed to project a body this time,” he observes and something about his voice doesn’t feel right, had it always been that high?
Qui-Gon’s expression doesn’t change much, but it slowly twists into one of confusion.
“Did I not have one before?” he says very slowly.

Anakin and Obi-Wan can't seem to move on (properly communicate) as Force Ghosts so the Force sends BOTH of them back in time, without the other knowing. Anakin regrets everything, Obi-Wan regrets everything, there's a Sith Lord loose in the Senate and WHY CAN'T THE PAST STOP CHANGING, WHO IS DOING THIS!!

Inside the mind of Avanika, Anakin Skywalker was having a karking panic attack. When Anakin had heard sibling, he... well he hadn't thought anything before being teleported mid-birthing, but he sure as hell would not have thought 'reincarnation into an infant girl, seven years before your original birth' if he could've. Griff, his mom was only sixteen, a year before being sold to Watto.
This was hell. It was worse than Mustafar, worse than Sidious' lightning, possibly even worse than Padme's death. This was hell; he was in hell.

Anakin Skywalker was created by the Force to be the Balanced, the Neutral between Light and Dark. That obviously didn't work - no, no more Chosen Ones. Chosen Two - Avanika and Anakin Skywalker, Daughter and Son of the Force. One minor issue, Darth Vader's consciousness is sent into Avanika's body to guide her younger brother.
Darth Vader, the Galaxy's greatest killer, has to grow up as her own older sister.
Started out as a crack one shot, but now its all politics and metaphysics, baby!

Anakin knows he isn’t Master Qui-Gon’s first Padawan. But he thought he had a good idea what the previous Padawans were like.
But nothing, not even Master Qui-Gon’s incomplete stories, could have prepared Anakin for the force of nature that is Obi-Wan Kenobi.
